The Mistik Askiwin Dendrochronology Laboratory (MAD Lab) was formed to investigate tree-ring related research questions in many areas of Canada.\u00a0 The initial focus of the MAD Lab was to establish extensive tree-ring chronologies in the Atlantic region.\u00a0 These chronologies form the foundation of various projects. Now we have moved on to extensive tree-ring work across all Saskatchewan and western Canada.<\/p>

Candendro is a website created by me, Colin Laroque, in an effort to make dendrochronology data more accessible to everyone across Canada. The website includes data regarding current dendrochronology laboratories around Canada, names of Canadian dendrochronologists and their contact information, data on dendrochronological collections, as well as articles, images, news and more.\u00a0<\/p>
